Fishing Charters
Fishing Charters Southern California is home and host to such a huge variety of fish. There is a yearly rotating calendar that most experienced anglers follow but rarely discuss openly. If you’re in the mood for a mild day of grinding rockfish from the depths, running and gunning for Yellowfin Tuna, or hunting for huge White Sea Bass, we’ll get you to the spot and get it done!
Full Day Catalina (4 persons max.) 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Departing either Newport or Huntington Harbor, depending on season, conditions and bait situation. Targeting Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, Bonito, Halibut, Calico Bass, and Rockfish. $1300 includes bait, ice, water and sodas.
Full Day San Clemente Island (4 persons max.) 4:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Departing either Newport or Huntington Harbor, depending on season, conditions and bait situation. Targeting Yellowtail, White Sea Bass, Bonito, Halibut, Calico Bass, and Rockfish. $1900 includes bait, ice, water and sodas.
½ Day Local (4 persons max.) 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Departing Newport, Fishing local structure The Flats and oil rigs, targeting Sand Bass, Calico Bass, Halibut and Rockfish. $900 includes bait, ice, water and sodas.
Offshore U.S. Banks (4 persons max.) 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Departing either Newport or Huntington Harbor, depending on season, conditions and bait situation. Targeting Yellowtail, Yellowfin, Dorado, Bluefin and Marlin.
$2000 includes bait, ice, water and sodas.
Local Shark (4 persons max) 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Departing Newport or Huntington Harbor depending on conditions. Catch and released is encouraged. The Rough House policy is take only one fish per trip to help preserve the fish stock. Targeting Mako Shark and Thresher Shark.
$1300 includes bait, chum, ice, water and sodas
Surf Charters
The Rough House has ventured to all of the Channel Islands and scored some of the best days with great, uncrowded conditions. While there are very few secret spots left in the world, there are hard to get to and remote spots that are left for only those who are willing to make the trip and get the payoff. It is encouraged to call ahead of time to discuss an upcoming trip so when the buoys start jumping you are ready to go.
All prices and availability are based on trip duration and location. (4 persons max)

*Ranch trips can be arranged for only 2 persons from Gaviota on a 13 foot Boston Whaler
Dive Charters
Urkov Charter Services offers SCUBA, Free Dive, and Spearfishing Charters to any local spots along the Southern California Coast, out to the Channel Islands or offshore for paddy hopping.
Full Day Catalina (4 persons max) 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Departing Newport. All divers are responsible for their own gear, tank rentals are available in Avalon. Dive a little, hang in town the rest of the day, you are in charge. All spear fishermen must have current DFG license. Limitless diving, do not exceed your table!
$1200 includes ice, water and sodas

Piloted by your own captain, cruise the harbor like a true VIP and arrive at your restaurant of choice if style. After dining, continue the fun with a final tour of beautiful Newport Harbor. We are your water limo.

$600 (6 persons max), 4 hours. It is recommended that you and your party cruise for an hour and arrive at your restaurant, dockside, dine and then continue your cruise thereafter. Please bring your own drinks and appetizers for the harbor cruise. If you wish to make custom arrangements, please let us know, as we are flexible to your wishes. Great attitudes and big smiles are mandatory!

Burials at Sea
Urkov Charter Services offers burial at sea services for smaller groups who wish to scatter the ashes of loved ones, including beloved pets. We offer a 2 hour service for a maximum of 6 passengers. Departing Newport Beach and exiting the harbor for approximately 45 minutes. It is recommended that you make reservations for lunch afterwards at one of the restaurants listed in the Harbor Dinner Cruises page on this website. That will be your departure and drop off location.
$400, 2 hour (6 persons max)
Unattended services available. Remains will be scattered within 2 weeks of receiving ashes. A certificate will be mailed to you noting the date, time, latitude and longitude of burial site.
$200 (please call for mailing address and permit instructions)
Note, prior to departure, you must show the proper permits for scattering the ashes of human remains.

Captain for Hire
Urkov Charter Services is available for hire to captain your private vessel. Services such as yacht deliveries for haul out, yacht relocation, vacation destinations, weekend island excursions, and simple cruises for you and your guests.
